I couldn’t have said it better myself!
Just look at her with that drumstick. Yup, that’s my mom ready to eat the drumstick. Yeah for Thanksgiving.
I think she really enjoys the holiday now that she doesn’t need to cook and be in the kitchen. She gets to eat and play with all the grandchildren and just relax. We had a great time this year with everyone. It was truly a wonderful holiday. I wish my Colorado sister and her family had been able to join us. When we called them her 5 year old daughter answered the phone. They were having elk for dinner. Her daddy’s shot it. My sister is a zoo vet and she is more farmer than faux. She has chickens and they grow a vegatable garden and now, they apparently hunt for their own food. Happy Thanksgiving D? I am not sure I totally understand the zebra bath robe but if we are big game hunting I guess it works. You go girl!
And here are what I belive to be potatoes from their garden. Otherwise, they are rocks. Never having grown potatoes, I can only take a guess. But either way the elk is invovled.
I am going to have to go with the chocolate turkey on this one. But you enjoy that elk, you Colorado farmers!

Annie
