We have a lot of signs on houses around here.

They are signs indicating that they were once a farm but no longer really hold farm status. I think it is great they they have these signs so we can all realize that at one point alot of the area we now live in was once rural farm land and not developments.  Take a look.

This is a really old farmstead which is now situated between two very busy roads and a highway. I am glad they still have the sign to remind us of our past.

And not to be outdone we have our own sign.

We too used to be farm until the farmer sold off the land and it was developed into several homes. I didnotice however that most farms out in Lancaster did not have sign indicating their farmyness. You could tell just be looking at them that they were farms. A small fact that eludes all the above mentioned farms.
