A lot of barns in the north country have been left fallow like so many fields.

It appears that although they paint them they still look slightly abandoned.

This stable is unique and yet it appears rarely used by the driveway tracks.

Ok, no painting, no maintenance and we know they don’t use this barn. How did it get this far into disrepair. Did they take the barn siding off to sell, to burn for winter fuel or did it just fall off?

They have cute little white churches.

The Tibbet’s Lighthouse is just down the road where the St Lawrence River meets Lake Ontario.

And don’t forget Tara.

And Seven Oaks!!!

All of this within about 6 miles along the St. Lawrence River. What a great ride we had to the town of Cape Vincent.
