Rainy Day at the Faux Farm
It started out as a nice day but no sooner did I have my gardening gloves and shovels in hand then it started to rain.
I tried gardening in the rain until I was so wet and muddy that I knew it that I would be embarrassed if any one should see me. I rather liked the effect of the rain in this photo- it didn’t look quite that good on me.
I shoot this through the screen on the porch day.
And then the rain stopped just as quickly as it started and so I donned the gloves and grabbed my shovel and I went back to work.
This is my raised bed flower garden.
Flowers in front of my “faux chicken coop” that I had to have and now that I have it, I am not quite sure what to do with it! But it sure looks farmy.
My peaches. Don’t get too impressed, I had to search long and hard for one that didn’t have little brown spots on it.
Some apples from my apple tree.
And my one lonely pear. Really – I only got one pear from my one pear tree. What’s up with that?
It was a cloudy day that rained on and off all day long. But the corn sure is growing tall with all the water.
Stay Dry.
