Take My Camera Away!
Have you ever noticed that certain regions or events attract certain clientele?
And more often than not these people like to advertise their preferences and hobbies in life on the back of their cars.
I have a “1000 Island” sticker on my car. This guy clearly likes boating. I am ok with all of this. Sometimes however, people cross the line. My sister and I went to the Craft show in town the other day and we should have known by the types of vehicles in the parking lot as well as the odd assortment of people out front that we were in the wrong place. So it was with little surprise when we walked in and the ladies at the front desk of the arena looked oddly at us. We were clearly out of our element, we were the odd ones in this group. They took one look at us and said that the craft show was in the next town and this arena was hosting the boys wrestling championships. “Wow -you knew just by looking at us that we were in the wrong place” I said. She smiled and said “you come to enough of these meets and you know what to look for.” I don’t know if that was good or bad but we said thank you anyway and left. As we walked through the parking lot I saw this on the back of a truck. Had I seen it when we first arrived we could have saved ourselves the troubling of actually going into the arena. Good sense should have stopped me from 1. looking at all 2. getting really close 3. taking this photo and 4. publishing this photo on the blog. Clearly I have no good sense. But if you ever see one of these in a parking lot- don’t go in – you don’t belong. Trust me on this one!
