Lancaster Snow Part 2
Can’t you just feel the power of this horse going through the snow?
Seeing all of the horses and buggies in the snow was so cool. I was surprised that the horses went through it as well as they did. Here are my pictures of the horses and farm animals out in the snow.
Looking for some green grass or making a snow angel?
Making their way back to the barn.
Look how thick their coats have gotten, they look like velvet dont’ they?
This is my neighbors buggy and that is the Faux Farm in the background. Anna asked me to come over and take a picture of their birdhouse with all the snow piled on top of it. The kids thought it looked like a hat. I told her I would make a copy of the photo for her children so next summer when it was really hot outside they could remember how snowy it was. The kids laughed at me. I took the photo from inside the house and when this blue jay came by for some home made suet I was able to catch this photo.
The starkness of the dark buggies and the white snow makes such a great photo.
Now here is something interesting. Do you see how the second buggy has a lot more reflectors than the first buggy? This is the buggy of a teenager. They love to add all the extra reflectors – it’s their way of pimping their ride. Now you know!
Buggies in the snow!
Thanks for taking a look! Happy New Year.

Ann
