Photo Books
I take a lot of photos, a real lot. 5 days in Italy = 1800 photos. That’s digital for you. I mean really, with those kind of numbers you are bound to get a few really great shots. You might even think you are really talented based on those shots. On the other hand, if you could only take say – 50 photos – you might not get any fabulous shots and your supposed talent would be out the window. This is why I take as many photos as I can, even if that means the camera viewfinder never leaves my eyes for the entire vacation. However, the real work starts when I get back home and I have to cull the herd of all those images. Separate the wheat from the chaff, so to speak. Then, when I am left with just 100 photos, I make a photo book. I used to make prints but no one likes to flip through real 3×5 pictures anymore. The Iphone has too small a viewing space and although the Ipad is great, I still haven’t figured out how that really works and I either have thousands of photos in one giant pile or none at all. But the photo book – ahhh-it is a great way to show off your work, and it makes a great gift. I gave one to each of the couples that went to Italy with us. I like Mypublisher, the software is easy, the quality is great, and they are quick. They always have great sale promotions so check that out before you purchase as you can save a lot on the 50%off or the free extra page sale.
