Once upon a time, there was a bare-naked table looking for a good time but unfortunately, there was nothing in the closet to wear to the party. Now, luckily, there was the Linen Lady. She dreamed of glorious receptions, great events, and fun filled parties. She searched the world over for magical patterns, wonderful fabrics and sumptuous colors to make tablecloths for the bare table so there would be no more listening to ” I have nothing to wear” every time the word party was mentioned.

She sewed and sewed and made so many fine tablecloths that one day her family said to her – nicely but firmly ” you need to get a warehouse for all these tablecloths – they are everywhere” and indeed they were. Her friends agreed she needed a bigger place because they always wanted to visit and use the tablecloths for their daughter’s weddings and their own parties and so she rented a warehouse and finally opened THE TOTAL TABLE, a special event linen rental establishment.

Now all the bare tables in the land could get dressed up and go out on the town in style. They were so festive in their new tablecloths and napkins that they were invited to all the best parties in town. And soon word spread and the naked chairs heard about the fancy fabrics and had some fashion sense of their own and they too wanted wonderful coverings and so chair covers and sashes were added.

Each weekend tablecloths would go out and party and then come back to the warehouse to clean up and get ready to go out to the next soiree. Styles, patterns and colors were always being added to keep up with fashion and party couture until even that warehouse was too small to hold all the tablecloths.

Now after ten years THE TOTAL TABLE has a warehouse with over 24,000 square feet of space with rows upon rows of tablecloths all hanging there pressed and ready to be invited out to the next great party.
