Icicles
I was thrilled to look out the window this morning and see all these great icicles.
Of course any normal person would be worried that someone might get hurt or that it would create an ice dam behind the gutter and send melting ice into the house. I was just worried that I wouldn’t get the window open enough to take this photo. I can no longer look at the world without thinking “Hey is that an interesting photo opportunity?” I make sure that my little sony cybershot camera is in my purse before I remember my cell phone or money. Bob is getting worried. Then again, I never take pictures of him – so maybe it is just a jealousy thing. I shall try to snap of few of him just to make him feel better and see if the complaining doesn’t subside a bit.
Anyway, I don’t love taking winter photos as much as spring and summer. I love the color of green things growing and all the colorful flowers. However, living in the Northeast I have forced myself to look around and surprisingly enough have found a lot of fun things to photograph in the cold of winter. Pick a shot – try it a couple of different angles and have fun. And remember – spring is just around the corner.
I lightened this a little and then saturated the color so that the sky got just a little bluer.
The end – now where is Spring?
