Ultimate Snowmobiling
This was the best time I ever had in the snow. We took a vote at breakfast and everyone agreed “snowmobiling was the best”. We all had such a great time. The weather was fabulous, the snow fluffy and we all had the time of our lives. I was the last one in the line up so that I could take photos and then quickly race to catch up, which was fun too, plus you weren’t sucking in all the fumes from the snowmobile directly in front of you. At one point I got stuck in the snow and left behind but Bob came back for me. Eventually. There are over a million acres of forest out there and if you get lost, you are really lost. As in forever. Our guide told us he would forget he ever saw us. That was encouraging! I made sure he could always see me. I wasn’t taking any chances.
Ladies and Gentleman, start your engines!
And they are off!
Here we are out in the first meadow. They took us out here to get used to the machines before we headed into the forest. This is Barb, I showed her first since she made the reservation for this outing. Good job!
Bob started to throw snowballs at passing riders. They kids loved it and I threatened anyone who hit me with a snowball with instant front page photos of their most embarassing moments on this blog . The threat worked! This is John, Barb’s youngest son and he was feeling good cause they let him drive even though he is only 13.
Becca and Jill shared because Jill didn’t want to drive. Instead she was in charge of snowball throwing off the back of her sled ( that is snowmobile lingo). Yeah – go ahead and throw that one at me Jilly and see what happens to you!!
Now they are all loading up on snowball amunition. See that one in mid air against the dark green of the trees?
Amd here is Kyle ready to join in the fun. Tomorrow I will show all the great scenery shots. So that’s for it today. Don’t you wish you were there with us?
