The Weed Farm
I know, I know! It looks like an abandoned lot. The weeds have taken over the Faux Farm.
It is amazing how many weeds grew in just 4 weeks. I worked from noon till 7pm and although I put a pretty big dent in the weed farm I am no where near finished. I am however, tired, and my back hurts from all the bending over and my hands hurt from all the pulling.
Even my clematis vine has lost it’s mind and gone crazy. It has almost completely closed the walk through of the arbor and my wheel barrow won’t fit through.
On a positive note, Barry has been very good about mowing so at least the lawn is looking pretty good.
So I got the raised gardens done.
And Joey was such a big help. Not! You know how they train dogs as seeing eye dogs and bomb or drug sniffing dogs? And you know how dogs like to dig and get sticks? And you know how they cross breed all these dogs to make hybrids? Well, I want them to make a dog that finds and digs up weeds. How great would that be. A whole pack of these dogs could come into the yard, do the weeding. Of course, they also need to be trained to pick up their own poop!
I am going to take a hot bath, some Motrin and go to bed. I am also going to call Sylvan in the morning and see if some of his boys can come over next Saturday and help me finish the weeding.
