Those girls are crazy in love.
All the young teenage girls LOVE Justin Beiber. Yes he is cute but honestly girls, have some self respect. Please.
I know from our own experience how popular he is. After all, our little cavalier dog is named Justin, after you know who. But that is nothing compared to my friend Susan and her daughters enthusiasm for Justin. Turns out he was in town the other day at a local radio station and the head of the local fan club (age 15) made an all out alert and call to arms to rally the troops and Susan’s girls were on that call list. Being the good mom that she is, and no I would not have done this in case you were wondering, she took them and two of their friends to the radio station to meet him. The van arrived and out popped the band and his mom but no Justin. Seems he snuck in the back door. He did wave from the window on the second floor and all the little girls screamed and hollered back, “we love you Justin” at the top of their shrill little voices. Young love, how cute but yet annoying at the same time. Now being savvy teenagers they were not going to be outwitted twice so at the end of the interview they all rushed to the back door hoping to catch him sneaking back out. The van pulled up, the band and his mom got in and off they went. Ohh, too bad, fooled again. But wait, all of a sudden, 4 larger than life body guards appeared and formed a line, a human barricade, two of them on each side making a secure pathway. The door opened and Justin walked out. Pandemonium broke out instantly. Justin now had to walk the longest and most dangerous 10 feet of his life to get into the safety of his waiting van. As Susan tells it, it was like walking the plank. With a mixture of pride and a parental humiliation Susan says it went down as follows. “I looked to the left and all I saw was my sweet little daughter, who only came down to get her CD signed, lunging forward faster than a speeding bullet. I saw blond hair and the just the soles of her shoes flying midair. She landed on the back of one really big body guard and clung to him like a spider monkey. She was latched onto him and he couldn’t shake her off. She was leaning as far forward as she could without completely flipping over the man’s head and then she reached out and touched Justin’s hair and screamed “I love you”. The body guard was still trying to shake her off his back but was now thwarted by the friend who had wedged her hand between his chest and his arm and she reached out and grabbed onto Justin’s shirt and wouldn’t let go. Another scream, but this one caused by Justin biting her arm to get her to release his clothing. She released and with pride and joy showed anyone who would look at the perfect dental imprint she now bore of Justin’s teeth. This injury will not be washed, or covered with a band-aid but photographed and made into greeting cards and probably saved to her desktop. Meanwhile, Susan’s other daughter was on the ground being trampled and crying. She too had imprints, these were made by the soles of the many Uggs boots that had stood on her to get a better look and now completely covered her once white jacket. Her friend has gotten jabbed, poked or knocked into and had bruises on her arm forever to be known as the battle scars in the fight for Justin’s love. Susan said that it was bad enough she had to take her own children home bruised and battered but she also had to deliver the other two to their parents in the same condition, especially the bite mark kid. She said, that for a bunch of banged up kids they couldn’t be happier and couldn’t wait to tell their friends and show off their wounds, they would be so jealous. Susan said she got home and needed a drink. I told all of this to Jilly and she said ” If I was bitten by Justin I would so never, ever wash that hand. I am going to marry him. He won’t be famous forever and then I will make my move.” Oh young love!
See you tomorrow,
