Little D wrote came off the bus today with a note for Santa. It read:“Dear Santa, I am sorry I asked you for the DS last year and made you do all that work and make it for me. My dad was right; I should have waited until this year when the 3DS came out. I would like to change the old one for a new one. Thank you, LOVE Little D”.

This is important to those of us who have received thank you notes or letters from little D because he always signs off with LIKE, little D. He told us that LOVE is just too much of a word, but he clearly knows the power of the word because Santa got it on his note.

During dinner tonight the whole 3DS vs DS issue was discussed and little D was informed that Santa doesn’t do exchanges. His mother then noted that at least he tried and that it was very nice to have said “love” at the end of his note. Little D replied “yeah, I wrote that before I knew Santa didn’t do returns”.

So will he get a 3DS or not? We will have to wait and see.
